I just began singing with the Edmonton Christian Men's Choir
in September of this year (I have a second tenor voice). I wonder
if any other participants have sung or are singing in a choir these days.
Do let me know.

I sang with "Festival of Praise" back in the 80's. That was fun. And have sung on and off in church choirs.

When I was a regular churchgoer several years ago, I actually worked up the courage to join the choir (I was one of only three men, including the minister and the music director). Rehearsals with a bunch of gossiping old women was entertaining. Learned a lot of things.

I was a member of a church choir
I loved to sing in the school choir but i quit both cause i couldent handle the pressure. Now im thinking of startin up my own band with my little sister. I wish i could be a real band member. I read guitar music and play i can play my own compositions on the piano i sing very well and i am starting to learn how to read violin music and play it. I wish, i wish, i wish i could just get over stage fright. and i wish i could meet up with another garage band and make wonderful music.

Not in a choir, but I do sing in the band at my church, as well as playing various instruments. I do mostly vocal harmonies. But I do write and sing as a solo artist as well.

I have sung a several choirs sincee I was 6, although I'm not currently in one. I've sung everything from "I Saw mommy Kissing Santa Claus" to Handel's Messiah. I love it. I'm a very good choir alto. I just wish I had more opportunity to do it as well as the time.

I was in a Boy's choir back in the late 60s/early 70s. Got tossed for giving the finger to a fellow choirboy..;)
