My co-worker came in and turned on the radio in the room where I was working. I asked her to turn it off because I couldn't work in a noisy room. I was always courteous enough not to touch the radio if someone's already in the room with the radio on, and I asked her to show the same courtesy. She got angry and left the room. I reported it to the boss. It wasn't resolved for a while. Eventually one co-worker who was on my side took the radio and threw it in the bin while on no one was around. Problem solved.

Same question:
What kind of arguments did you have with coworkers and what was the result?

Edit: fixed error

I'm retired now, but once a colleague was promoted and became all high and mighty. I worked in the computer dept and he asked if I would bring him any reports he sent to the printer there. I simply asked him if he'd also like me to wipe his arse when he went to the toilet. The look of shock on his face was a picture. He never asked again.

Same Q.

They threw my stapler out the window. I pushed them out the window.

How would you spend your day if you had unlimited resources for one day?

A day trip to space sounds great. Would you take your Shetland pony with you? :P

Same Q.

i'd find and buy a cliffside [overlooking the pacific ocean] house, on the cozy cabin or bungalow scale, with an attached garage in which i would park inside of it a mint-condition pink Mary Kay edition cadillac sedan de ville, circa 1993 or so. in the house i'd install a SOTA audio and video system, along with a mint condition 1980 Conn 653 theatre organ with accessory speaker system.

choose one-
be poor but infinitely wise
or
be rich but stupid

I don't know about 'extremely', but I've experienced option one and you could easily become option two if you knew how to use it to your advantage.

I choose option two so that I could live comfortably away from civilisation (with my Shetland pony).

Same question.

Rich and ugly so I can afford to raise my children and my pets.

Rich and ugly. You could always mitigate your ugliness. It's much harder to mitigate being poor.

Same question.

if one is poor and has no other problems, if one plays one's cards right, if one is attractive at all, one has an escape hatch from poverty.

choose one-
eat a sourdough tuna melt with cheddar and mayo
or
eat a reuben sandwich

I'm a vegetarian, so I'd choose the first option with no tuna.

And hurry up, I'm hungry!

Same question.
