I like surrealism, especially Dalí.

Same question.

Surrealism is my favorite too. I especially like Dali and Magritte.

Did a book ever make you cry?

The Man Who Fell to Earth by Walter Tevis made me cry.

Same question.

A few books have, but the last book was a Spanish translation of Jane Eyre. I read it in Spanish because I wanted to practice my Spanish, and I desperately wanted to reread one of my favorite books. I cried more reading it in Spanish than I ever have in English. Maybe since I read a bit slower in Spanish, it prolonged certain parts. That’s probably it.

Did you have an imaginary friend when you were a kid?

I had many imaginary friends at various points in my childhood. Now I just talk to myself as if I'm talking to someone else, which I suppose is kind of the same thing.

What is the most fun thing you've ever done?

Giant waterslides or rollercoasters.

I went on many rollercoasters at several different theme parks, right up until nearly a decade ago when I suddenly stopped. They were fun though.

Do you use pepper as a seasoning on food?

Sure. On fried eggs. And steak. Is that so very wrong?

Do you drink water? Plain water I mean. Or do you have to have something in it?

Yes. I’m offended.

I drink plain water, but it needs to be very cold.

What kind of food does your favorite restaurant serve?

Pepper:
Yes but I find it tastes really salty lately.
Black pepper is no longer peppery imo.
White pepper too. :(
Maybe it's my mouth or maybe there's a conspiracy.
Now I use ghost peppers instead.

Restaurant:
Steak and lobster, stuff like that.

I don't tend to go to restaurants for evening meals but I love a good cooked breakfast. And by good I mean good - local, traditional breed pork for sausages and back bacon, fried mushrooms and tomatoes, toasted artisan bread, spinach, maybe a hash brown but if you put baked beans anywhere near my plate, god help me I will come at you with everything I've got.

I think restaurants should just serve breakfast all day.

Oh, I quite like a noodle bar too, sometimes.

same q.

A mostly chicken based menu.

I love me some chicken.

Have you ever nearly electrocuted yourself?

I have actually electrocuted myself. When I was about 8 I took a lamp apart to see how it worked, then I went outside and came in with wet hands and picked it up. It was a very weird sensation. Not painful. Just shocking. The whole room lit up around me and I was vibrating and I couldn't let go of the lamp, it was like it was stuck to my hand with magnetism. it seemed to go on for a really long time but probably was quite quick. I don't remember why it stopped. Perhaps a fuse blew. It burned a hole in my thumb, it healed over but I can still see the shadow of the burn deep down in my thumb.

Since then I've been able to generate intense light from within my body whenever I want, a power I use to fight crime in my secret double life as Lamp Man.

That last bit was a lie.

Have you ever nearly drowned?

Years ago when I was fiddling the electric meter yes

One end of the wire swung down and hit a metal box underneath

It threw me right back and my face went black.

I plugged in a plug that seemed to have an exposed wire which I didn't notice had happened initially. There was a blue spark when I started unplugging it later on and I reflexively threw it down and it made a 'popping' noise. I feel as though if I had held onto it, I might have gotten electrocuted.

Has someone ever threw a bucket of water over you?
