Yes. Accompanying my grandma to regular doctor appointments a few years ago was a frequent source of agonizing boredom.

Same question.

Not really, unless I'm around certain people whom only converse about topics that are absolutely out of my range of though or, that I find absolutely insignificant..

What do you think employers and job recruiters should be doing to improve the results of Autistic people finding & retaining work?

but only "decent" people could come to the party

Difficult to answer, but I feel there is some sort of sustained link between the two phenomena..

Do you think, that other conditions that an autistic person(s) manages with should not be labeled as co-morbid? Every time I hear that term being used, makes me think that both my aspergers and any other difficulties I deal with on a daily basis is literally going to be the death of me.

Yes, the "morbid" does always strike me as a loaded word. "Co-existing" might fit better when that is what's meant. And for many of the "co-morbids" which autistic people struggle with, "consequential" might be an even better fit which makes a useful semantic distinction.

Same Q.

I hate the term "co-morbid." It has that creepy association with death, as longshot and trogluddite stated. I think co-existing conditions would be a better term.

Same q. re co-morbids

I'll go with co-existing as, I find that a more appropriate feeling and terminology better used.

Do you feel that, within the next 100-500 years as such, there will be greater understanding and integration of autistic people within society as a whole possibly?
