I consider myself to be overly optimistic. In fact, I always think that I'll be able to perform at my best even when I constantly fail to reach what I hope to achieve. But I always feel that what I strive for is definitely reasonable. I even feel I am very reasonable when I make plans but only find it to be too optimistic when I dissect and analyze everything and what exactly I am hoping for.

Are you too optimistic?

I'm pessimistic to the bone. But that's just me.

I'm an optimist - but I'm reasonable too.

I am rather pessimistic to be honest.

Usually, no one expects me to speak any positive words and are always ready for me to say something to destroy the "light of a situation".

i'm a realist.

Although at times i can be overtly optimistic and other times i can be very pessimistic. It all depends on the time, place, situation etc.

Definitely more optimistic than pessimistic, although I do have my moments when I feel like something is never going to work out for me... like a long-term intimate relationship with a woman.

Considering what I've gone through in my life and fact that I keep on moving 'forward'... I'd say I'm hopefully optimistic.
Whatever that means...

I am a bitter optimist. I try and see the bright side, and then realise there might not be one.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.
