Perhaps not, but I am more concerned with what nations, like the U.S. and Iran, might do in the present context of militant nationalism than I am about any problems adjusting to global governance.

The militant nationalism with its wars, terrorism, global warming, bird flu, alien invasion, etc, etc, its designed to make you want rulership by a One World Order, its a device to make you want to submit your freedoms to a One World Dictatorship.
And just like the Russians found out under Communism, the only people to benifit are the ruling Elite, the ones who started the wars in the first place to make you submit to the New World Order.
Not withstanding even if it did result in happy times for the masses, if the Bibles correct in foretelling of its arrival, surely it will also then be correct in its foretelling of it only lasting 42 months before its destruction along with all those who excepted its mark?

Very true. We must proceed with EXTREME caution. The NWO as they plan it will benefit only the elites.
Under the current plans, there will be no true democracy, but a federal totalitarian state in which your rights and freedoms are forfeit, and freedom is an illusion.
I would be much more concerned by that than the neccessary evil of war.

I do not accept the legitimacy of the various versions of the illuminati conspiracy. To me, it is analogous to an Internet virus. Through critical thinking, it is easy to find a continual stream of logical fallacies (even without dealing with fact content).

I am not a Christian either.
