As a kid I liked it, I can't say I loved it, same as an adult and I'm an Aspie.

I like (OK, love) chocolate, but if I were to have one food which would never make me gain weight or have averse effect if I ate gluttonous amounts of, it would be mashed potatoes. Always felt that way, liekly always will. Mint chocolate chip icecream is a close second in that respect.

Yes. It has to be good quality though. I won't touch most milk chocolates, and Hershey's tatses an awful lot like cardboard or dirt to me. The best that I can access easily right now is Dove dark chocolate...and I have been known to polish off an entire 10 ounce bag of it within a day!!

I always liked chocolate even when I was little. I always wondered if it has a different emotional effect on us aspies, since sometimes I get angry after eating chocolate (maybe it's just me, or I think that it's the chocolate). I just love chocolate since I was very little, and it still tastes VERY good.

chocolate..... mmmmmmmmmmmmm........

chocolate is wonderful. i agree with chamoisee, though - has to be decent quality (i can eat cadbury's, prefer galaxy, and go into raptures over really good stuff).

the only exception is white chocolate, which isn't chocolate at all, is frankly disgusting, contains no cocoa solids, and tastes like sick.

I agree with you vetivert; I don't like white chocolate as much as dark chocolate since it doesn't taste like chocolate at all. Sometimes it just doesn't seem as rich as dark chocolate, or it's too rich. I like the deepness of dark chocolate that makes your taste buds quiver.

mmmm chocolate *drools* I love chocolate :) but I ain't too keen on the dark and rich chocolate and some of the fillings they put in the box chocolates is not nice at all. But it comes second best to potatoes.
