What does Britain mean to me? Green fields, hayfever, rain at Wimbledon, getting repeatedly beaten at sports we gave to the world, and chavs.

I am afraid I shall have to counter the point made about landrovers. The Americans invented the jeep, which became civilianised two years before the landrover appeared. The first landrover was built on a jeep chassis. I know that means one point to the Americans, but I had to do it.

Probably for different reasons than Everchanging thinks. I'm embarrassed by Britain but for different reasons.
