I love Blue Moon!

Also Samuel Adams, Chimay Ale (Belgian), Tatonka Stout (it's basically black, it's so dark), St. Pauli Girl, Heineken (both the beer and the dark lager), Bass Ale, and I'm sure a few others.

Hey, if I want to start buying cheaper beer, can anyone recommend something that won't offend my tastes, based on the above list?

Mine too! There is something about the unfiltered wheat beer that is unlike any other. Maybe special nutrients...

I don't really care for beer that much. But I haven't tried all that's out there.

I tried a guinness, that was pretty good.

I like White Russians and Captain/Coke and fruity 'lady' drinks.

Murphy's Stout is one of the few "mass produced" beers which I consider to be perfect.

It is like Guinness with 100% less ear wax aftertaste.

I *guess* it is coors. This may revise in a few months when I have the next batch.

That's some good stuff. Along those same lines, "wit bier" is a big favorite of mine. It's a Belgian beer style using wheat, but also adding coriander and bitter Curacao orange peel. I know it sounds odd, but try it once and you'll never look back. Good examples of this style are Hoegaarden, Dentergem, and Celis White.

Take it from Uncle Beer.
