It's ridiculously amazing how small that thing is and how much is packed into it. *drools*

I'll stick with my trusty plastic macbook for now, though. :)

Cool, though don't care for the price. Of course I say that about all things Mac... I have a hard time justifying more than 1000$ for any computer.

They should have put more usb ports on that thing though... just one? Lame...

Plus apple wants 100 for a dvd drive... double lame. At that price the external drive should come with it...

I really like the new aluminum look of the Macs now... I didn't care for the white that much... despite owning a white MacBook.

Multitouch is neat too, I already am used to the two fingered scrolling as an instinct... nice.

Yeah, me too, I'd like to see how rugged it is, because that's a lot of money for a computer.
In fact, why don't they release a $500 one, to compete against Dell/HP/etc?

it's not available yet, only as a preorder

I saw that they asked intel to make the chip smaller, so now they have a custom one, and it's like 50% smaller :O

Very nice, only the lack of a network port stops me buying one.

USB-Ethernet bridge (not gigabit though)
USB audio (to get mic/line in)

Could have done with an expresscard slot though to give it a few more options, like gigabit/firewire/sata/evdo/etc.

Looks great, but you sacrifice a bit of performance. I hope to hear the next announcement.

I would be afraid to snap it in half. Should be made by carbon or something.

I think you should be able to do that, but I'm no MAC expert. You would probably get killed by all Apple and Mac fans though!

It looks nice, but I'd be a little worried about the quality.

I think I'll stick with my iMac, ta.

What to use when going abroad though? Now that is the question.
