I remember my shrink showing my an ink blot that looked like a semicircle of rocks one way, chicken nuggets another way and a literally faceless girl with frizzy hair fashioned into a wierd style another way. I said that she did her hair like that to make herself interesting to make up for the fact that she didn't have a face. He called her Chicken Nuggets and asked if Chicken Nuggets was a friend of mine.

My memories of mental health treatment were a lot of kind people who understood my problems and were willing to work with me so that I could get back into society.

Hmm a jackass who put me on 3 mg of xanax then cut it off cold turkey giving me 4 seizures in one week, lots of people blaming my family and s**t when i knew that wasn't it, then finally this awesome guy named Dr.Tann who speaks in a mix Japanese and Boomhauer from king of the hill who diagnosed me in about 5 minutes of talking to me and got me on meds that actually help so hes almost a god in my eyes.

They gave me a form to fill out about participating in a study when I first went there, but the doctor, after seeing me, told me not to fill that part out and that that was just them being selfish; I needed their help, not the other way around. I would have participated in the study though. They wanted to do scans of depressed people's brains. But then, you couldn't be on meds and they wanted to put me on meds straight away because I was clearly desperate.
