This test, the "budometer", was formulated by a wine expert featured in an article in this weekend's Wall Street Journal. He proposes that wine taste has less to do with sophistication than with the sensitivity of the taster, and in order to help people choose what kind of wine they will like, he formulated the above test.
This test recommended me nothing but whites, which I find odd because in my meager experience with wine I have greatly enjoyed Cabernet Sauvignon, at the far end of the meter, while even the milder reds I've tried I have found rather uninteresting.
How accurate did you find it?
