Would I get banned for keeping on sending someone flames in their inbox?

It isn't considered anything if its on a website if outside in the real world then yeah it would be i suspose

Actually it is considered harrasment in the united states. I believe its considered use of a telecommunications device for harrasment, and I've even seen some people charge with use of a telecommunications device for stalking.

Flames is a internet term for being mean, nasty to someone. It also means insults too, attacking someone.

What about online on a forum?


I know it is on IM because they can report you to the service and they can close your account. If the harassment is bad enough like you threaten to send someone over to kill them, you could find the FBI on your door step.

I know doing a threat on a forum can get you in trouble so I don't do it. If I threatened to kill someone, they can call the police and they call the FBI and they trace down my IP and arrest me. Can happen all in one day. Amazing how fast it goes.
