permanently leaving the forums without announcing it to everyone?

Can't they just, like... go?

It's just that I see a post every other day talking about "oh I can't take it here anymore, I probably won't be back". Funny thing is that I see 90% of those people back within the week.

Seriously, if I don't want to go somewhere, I don't go to that place just to tell everyone that I don't want to be there. Seems silly to me.

Yeah, just a thought. And if you've done it I want to know how it all went down, and why. If you care to share, that is.

I've left the forums for a couple of weeks, last summer. It went down, pretty well.

Seriously though, frustration is a part of being autistic. We all experience these feelings from time to time and we're not always sure what it's all about. So we end up lashing out at people or institutions (like WP) which we do in fact care about. Sometimes we threaten to leave. Sometimes we just need to talk about our feelings in order to figure out who or what is really bothering us. No one makes any of us read this stuff.
