If there is anyone on here who is either a geologist or a geology major in college, I need help on something.

In my Structural Geology class, I am still lost on how to interpret strike, dip, plunge, and rake on a map.

If there is anyone who can help me, that would be great.

How soon do you need the info? Sounds like something fun... my research is off line at the moment but should be up sometime next week. Be happy to look into it... I've taken afew courses in geology (well and just about everything else)... my current obsession is immuniology where I've just about caught up to my phd candidate room mate but hey... geology is fun also... a friend of mine has a PhD in Geology and she got to help with the NASA probe that slammed into the comet last year.

I majored in Earth/Space Sciences. I had trouble with strike and dip too, it was never my strongest area. I have issues with spatial processing though.
