Last Crusade is like the greatest movie ever. Also, Raiders of the Lost Ark was the first movie, so does it really count as being a prequel?

So? Star Wars Episode IV was out in 1977.

Raiders took place in 1936. Temple of Doom was set in 1935.

Actually that makes Temple of Doom a prequel, as it was made after the first movie, but set before it.

You mean Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom was a prequel to Raiders of the Lost Ark (not the other way around).

Also for the really, really pedantic...

Raiders of the Lost Ark

was renamed to

Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark

for the DVD. (yuk).
