How many Normal Towners does it take to screw in a light bulb?

10.
One to look pretty
Two to vie with each other for "Head of Illumination Management"
Three to brag about the important and difficult work they are doing
One to complain loudly about everyone else
One to ask an aspie friend how to do it
One to ask another aspie friend what the first aspie meant by such technical jargon as "clockwise"
One to actually do the work, managing to kinda get it in after only a few days of hard labor

OK, I'll say it. NT stands for Neuro Typical. I thought it stood for "Normal Types" when I first joined. :)

No doubt NT stands for Neurotypical, but it also stands for Normal Towner, which is a resident of Normal Town, the land where everyone smiles but no one is content. At least thats how I see it.

As many as it takes to create the desired comfort level with the project. Then they'll screw it in as far as they think will do the job, without over-doing it.

This is ignorant and uninformed. Which one goes on the beer run?

I am only giving the bare bones minimum needed to get the job done. Obviously as many people can be added on as desired, with only a small addition of time-to-completion and reduction of probability of success per person.

oh man, I remember these . There used to be a Compuserve thread with about 500 of these (boy am I dating myself...but how else would I get lucky?...;)

don't forget...

1 to want to look good in front of the ladies, and vice versa
1 to complain how much better the old one was
1 to say 'that's not funny!'
50...yeah, it's in the contract...50
2 Christians to complain that it was lit from the moment they began screwing
1 stuck up one to stand in place and hold the light bulb while the world revolves around him

ok...I'll stop.

Two to ruminate on the topic over brunch.
Three to stand around making sex jokes about the situation.
Seventeen to shop for the lightbulb.
Ten to form the focus group.
Two to try to hold the ladder in place and make out at the same time.
Eight to gossip about the lightbulb's sordid past.
One to call the media.
One to engrave the lightbulb with "inspirational" messages.
One to actually screw the thing in.
And seven to help that person stage a "trust fall" off the ladder.

52 total.
