Well, a shortish while.
Unless you've already cracked it, take a look at

A part of London's not so distant past that I refuse to let go of. Nostalgia is fun!

It's not what it used to be.

The Routemasters are not quite gone, though "preservation" leaves a slightly odd taste.

"Two "heritage" routes have been introduced to keep the Routemaster alive in London. These operate on short sections of Route 9 and Route 15 as follows:

Royal Albert Hall — Hyde Park Corner — Piccadilly Circus — Trafalgar Square — Strand — Aldwych (0930 – 1830, every 15 mins, mirroring part of existing route 9).

Trafalgar Square — Strand — Aldwych — Fleet Street — Cannon Street — Monument — Tower Hill (0930 – 1830, every 15 mins, mirroring part of existing route 15). " from

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Routemaster

Apart from hopping on and off platforms in London for a good number of years,
my other odd bus connection is pre-routemaster:

KYY529, RT 1702. The last of the Festival of Britain buses.

A Munak. An undead hopping corpse that is also known as a Jiangshi which could be slightly compared to what one may think of as a chinese vampire. The paper ward is used as a control for higher functioning against primal habits (Superego over Id as you will).

So are you undead and only precariously under control...
Or of the brave-but-foolhardy ghost hunter class?

A most excellent genre!

The dead body of a young girl who has been dead holding a deep grudge and never goes beyond the realm. She sucks blood from the living things nearby to prevent her body from being more rotten. It seems to suit my dark humor as the characters that exist in that world tend to not take things too seriously if at all.

I changed my avatar, yet again. This one is of a benzene ring (my current obsession is chemistry). My friend and I made it from models in the chemistry lab and she took a picture of it and made it into an avvie. Chemistry-LotR crossover.... two of my favourite things! :D

My avatar is simply an idea I had for an avatar awhile back. It took FOREVER to make, and I had to have someone else string the animation together because the way this color version came out from movies13 was screwewd up, and I don't trusted pirated softeware but also don't want to pay for animation software I would hardly ever use.

My post-christmas avatar is Two-Face a villain from Batman, I feel a connection with this character that is sort of hard to explain... The version in the avatar is from The Animated Series which is where I best know the character from.

My avatar is a simple character I made with the South Park character creator, made to look as close to my real-life appearance as possible. There were no grey t-shirts in the creator to choose from, however. So, after creation, I just made this t-shirt grey with microsoft paint.

For a short time I was using a Riddick avatar. But I decided that the bada** nature of it contrasted too sharply with my overall apathetic indifference.

Mine is supposed to represent an elliptical orbit. I like to say I'm in an elliptical orbit around reality. :P

Don't judge it too harshly. It took me five minute in Adobe Photodeluxe to make.
