You have to sign up to take the thing, I think, but you can use a pseudonym.

Mine were (in order):

Humor and playfulness
Industry, diligence, and perseverance
Creativity, ingenuity, and originality
Love of learning
and
Caution, prudence, and discretion

So I'm a goofy workaholic weirdo bookworm wimp.

How 'bout you?

4)Curiosity and interest in the world
5)Industry, diligence, and perseverance

Are their any possible negative signature strengths?

That test was quite long. Most of the questions really weren't relevant to my life, either. I've never been in a leadership position, for example.

  • Fairness, equity, and justice
  • Forgiveness and mercy
  • Kindness and generosity
  • Judgment, critical thinking, and open-mindedness
  • Modesty and humility

Which one had the highest percentage rate?

Honesty, authenticity, and genuineness You are an honest person, not only by speaking the truth but by living your life in a genuine and authentic way. You are down to earth and without pretense; you are a "real" person.

On this strength, you scored as high as or higher than . . .
96% of all Web site users
96% of all male respondents
96% of all 16 to 17 years old
94% of occupation group UM-Ret.
96% of all with some HS or less
91% of those in Zip Code ***xx

Mine were...
1) Kindness and generosity
2) Fairness, equity, and justice
3) Forgiveness and mercy
4) Honesty, authenticity, and genuineness
5) Citizenship, teamwork, and loyalty

So in other words, I'm not creative or smart, but I'm a "nice guy". No surprise here.

My main problem was work ethic. I assumed I enjoyed the job I was given. It really depnds on whether I like what I'm doing or not.

Leadership wasn't very hard. I've actually thrown myself into the leadership spot many times, in certain situations it's instinctual. But some were really tough, I'll admit that.

I was just suprised at my score for "Honesty, authenticity, and genuineness". Maybe I was too lenient on whatever questions had to do with honesty.

Oh, and that checkmark thing at the end made no sense to me. I really hope they revise this test, it's very repetitvie with certain questions and the last part is confusing.

I got all lowish percents. I think my highest score was 55% over all other web site users.

My top five strenghts:

1. Creativity, ingenuity and originality.
2. Love of learning
3. Judgement, critical thinking and open-mindedness
4. Spirituality, sense of purpose, faith
5. Caution, prudence and descretion

I agree with it mostly, except I don't know how "open-mindedness" fits in with "judgement". Maybe it refers to a strong sense of right and wrong. I've never been placed in a true leadership position, but I tried to think of how I would act and what life would be like if I was in some sort of position like that. :?

BTW, people tend to think I have no sense of humor because I rarely smile (apparently), and discounting humor and playfulness, I should by rights be a librarian, not a future therapist.

OK, so I worked in a couple of libraries, but I mean, STILL.
