I asked this question in my "personality and autism" thread in the general autism folder, but I thought I'd try a poll here.

I have detailed descriptions of the seven types here: http://www3.telus.net/anemonecerridwen/goddesses.htm if none of the types seem to fit.

I hope no one is bothered by my obsession with categorizing people. This system really works (at least for me) and the payoff is that you can use it to figure out who to date and who to stay away from if you're having problems.

I'm afraid I couldn't find myself in any of the descriptions.... SORRY!

Hm, I'm not sure if any of them fit me. Maybe Persephone, a little bit.

Saw thread to which you refer, but couldn't decide. Did eventually choose "Persephone" type, but even that doesn't really fit esp. well as category. In other thread you say that people tend to identify with famous people (who seem like oneself). I do, but not usually with females-nor with an entire person, merely some aspects of the person. Iconoclasts-who are nevertheless, successful-eccentric yet charismatic people.
Have read Donna Williams' 4 memoirs & identified with much of what she said, esp. since she's had "intimate" relationships-as have I. Have read Temple Grandin's 3 memoirs & could relate to her "nuts & bolts" p.o.v.-but on other hand, I'm not nearly so distant from other humans (as she is).

I am an Athena. I am intelligent, and I have used it with my academic success :D I have already been published in a magazine, and my play is being produced in our school's Artfest. I do have creativity, but it's balanced because I'm extremely logical.

I think I'm most like Persephone.

According to the descriptions on the site, I'm definitely Persephone. Interesting that this seems to be the popular choice here so far.

I think some of the fictional characters attributed to each "type" are a bit silly.

Hermione Granger? Really? She's annoying. Besides, wouldn't she be independent?

She can be pretty sensitive, though (I think), especially when it comes to the guy she likes.

I'm probably closest to Persephone if that's the one that descibes being imaginative and creative...

The Persephone description is uncannily similar to the ways in which I am described by other people. I think a lot of people I've known would read it and say, "Oh, that's Kim. Exactly." But I don't know if I agree with it. For example, I don't think I'm nearly as sensitive as most people seem to think I am.

I don't really fit any of those. The only one that vaguely comes close is Athena, and I certainly don't want to be compared to Hilary Clinton. :?

Edit: Ok, I kinda skimmed through the types and Persephone does sound more like me.

I saw this

Quote:
Hillary Clinton (Athena)

and started laughing. Athena is the goddess of knowledge; Hillary Clinton is not that smart at all.
