This is an strange idea.

1. You win if and only if : The first character of the last winning post equals the first character of your nickname AND the last character of the last winning post equals the last character of your user name.

2. You are only allowed to post if you were the last person to win, otherwise you would need to fulfill condition 1 to win and therefore be able to post.

3. A winning post would be the first post made by the winning person.

4. If you have already posted the winning post and nothing happens in a while you are allowed to make another winning post, the condition is that both the last and first characters in the new post are different to your previous post.

* When I said last character or first character I meant last/first non-whitespace/punctuation character.

So, we just need a winner...

At first I thought this was a clone of Last person to post wins.

It only differs in the order of the last two words.

And that makes a lot of difference.

Am I winning.

I can't tell if you're winning or not; the rules are too confused to make much sense to me.

The A is capitalized and yes English relies heavily on word order rather than having inflections, etc to disambiguate the sentences. Order should be for emphasis only, not meaning.

Seems I'm the last person to post here, as of March 24th 2008... but I don't think that means I won, just that I kill threads.
