One of the perseverative word loving sound making things I do is make up tongue twisters on the spot. My favorite one from this site is Krakatoan cranberries. (easy, but fun)

Try any of these ten times fast.

Then add some of your own.

This is the tastiest tongue twisting thread! (hard)
Twenty tongue twisting teetotalers tweaked twelve tarpulins. (hard)
Jack jinxed George's jump (hardest)
Neuroman's nine nice new numbers (easy)

Here's one that I've made up.

"Brian brought home a Baby Bumble Bee for his Baby Brother, Billy. Billy became Best Friends with his Baby Bumble Bee."

I have this one from a Dr. Seuss book memorized (yes, I still have the book):

Said a book-reading parrot named Huey, "The words in this book are all fooey. When you say them your lips will do slips and back flips and your tongue may end up in St. Louie!"

Couldn't help it - really - it just popped into my head:

Sophist's six Seuss books.
I can't even do once.

(Don't try this at home...)

Red leather yellow leather.

Short but effective. When said over and over, it gets really hard.

For some reason tongue twisters cause me very little difficulty. I think it may be because I do not say them with the normal fluid rythmn of speech, but rather with a metronomical steadiness.

I messed up once on "Jack jinxed George's jump", but then repeated it ten times without mistake.

I always loved the lyrics to Theophilus Thistler by Sonic Animation:

An exercise in vowels ....
Theophilus Thistler the thistle sifter, in sifting a sieveful of unsifted thistles thrust three thousand
thistles through the thick of his thumb.
Robert Rowley rolled a round a rolled round, and if Robert Rowley rolled a round a rolled round,
where is the round roll Robert Rowley rolled round?
Dividing and gliding and sliding, and falling and brawling and sprawling, and driving and riving
and striving.
Hardly had his hale highness heard the easy hedgehog, when he hit the humming-bee by the
hunter, who had horrible beetles in the human hall. I love to hear the horses hard iron hooves, go
hammer, hammer hammer, hammer hammer, on the easy highway. I hit my horse hard and hurried
him out to hunt up hogs.

Mr. See and Mr. Soar were old friends. See owned a saw and Soar owned a seesaw and a sword. Now, Soar swore he saw See's saw saw Soar's seesaw before See saw Soar, which made Soar sore. Had See seen Soar see See's saw before See saw Soar's seesaw, then See's saw would not have sawed Soar's seesaw, and Soar's sword would not have seared See's knees. But See never saw Soar and Soar's seesaw before Soar saw See's saw, so See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw. It was a shame to let See see Soar so sore just because See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw. When Soar saw how sorely sorry See was, he sewed See's knees and swore to leave the sword on the sea shore.

 I found it on a website and edited it to add 'sword, swore, sea, knees and shore'!
