i dont really listen in terms of genre anymore, but lately most of my new acquisitions have been in the vein of early 90's noise rock or noise-rock and shoegaze influenced stuff. shellac, unwound, etc etc.

Country-Goth-Rock is my home, but Punk Rock is my yard, Hardcore is my garage, and Metal is my treehouse. The property is on Rock and Roll Ave, at the intersection with Country Ln and Blues Blvd.

Jeez...whats with all the genres? I don't even know what half of them are. HAHAHA

I knew how you felt. Surprised that Rock and Metal were two different genres.

Anyway, Techno (or Electronica for those heavily knowledgeable ;) )

Specifically Eurodance (House), Hardstyle genres (Gabber hahe), some of the newer House (Electro specifically).

don't like the old Chicago House (LOL i live in Chicago), sounds too much like r&b and gospel...or a result of family issues, which may be related to former one.

EDIT: and Metal (even the 'emo' stuff; which depending on opinion includes Linkin Park)

Most Electronic music (ambient, IDM, experimental, techno, early electronic music from the 60's onwards etc.)
Maybe throw in some New Wave and Industrial too (maybe Classical too), but in reality my taste is far broader than that.

Progressive Rock, Symphonic Metal.

Everything else I kinda listen to. Only genres I really don't like are Hip-hop, RnB, and Rap - and even then, there's a few exceptions(One prog song I have heard has rapping in the middle, and it's still an awesome song. Because it has more meaning than most rap I've heard). I'm not afraid to try new music. =)
