You know what I mean....when you give "dragon hugs" to people on WP.

I don't mean something more complex. I'm a very simple person.

Sorry for the confusion.

I honestly haven't the faintest idea, are "dragon hugs" some kind of custom on WP that I'm unaware of? For instance, you mention something called "Wolfman hugs" are they unique to you? Is Wolfman some kind of Superhero? Are "dragon hugs" my thing?

You're making this too complicated.

It's a joke that I'm known as the Wolfman----so I give Wolfman Hugs.

You've given "dragon hugs" in threads. And it's nice. You're providing support for people.

Nothing more than that. No ulterior motive. Just simple.

Can we be friends?

I think you may have confused Lost_dragon with dragonsanddemons, kraftiekortie.
All just a misunderstanding.

Yeah....I think you're right LOL.

Sorry about that, Lost Dragon. My "bad."

Sometimes, I'm such a fool!

Don't worry about it, I thought something like that may have been the case. :) It's understandable, there are a few different dragons roaming the place after all.

I didn't think you had an ulterior motive or anything like that, I just wasn't aware that people called you Wolfman, or that "dragon hugs" were a thing, which I'm assuming is something Dragonsanddemons does. But, if the friendship offer still stands...I would like to be friends. I may not be someone who gives dragon hugs, but er...well I'd like to think I'm ok...as a person.

I've added you as a friend, and don't worry about it- these things happen. :D

Thanks.

Have you read much about Adlai Stevenson? He was our ambassador to the United Nations for a time. Even though he wasn't into IT, he was considered something of an "intellectual" and a "nerd" at the same time. And he had a balding head----that's where "egghead" probably originated.

I haven't, no. Wasn't there someone with a really shiny head who died because a bird mistook their head for a rock and tried to crack open a tortoise or a turtle on it? Aeschylus, that was it.

Welp, we seem to be derailing a thread here.

Actually, we're not LOL

We've kept to the topic, in general.

About the association between "nerdiness," intelligence, and Aspergers.

I suppose so, although there was a slight detour before with dragon shenanigans and all. :D

Yeah, I've certainly gathered that. It's the one place you can go off track without people complaining at you, although it can get confusing at times.

People get confused all the time; the key is to always seek to resolve the confusion.

If we don't become befuddled, we never learn.

I'm glad we shook hands, and became friends.
