Hey all,

This thread is dedicated to getting a collection sorted and making plans for some intervention for SpaceCase.

First, we need someone in a semi-rural place (population of no more than 40,000 ish) to put her up for awhile, so she can clear her mind and be herself for awhile.

Secondly, we need somewhere that people can send money to, to fund the intervention. If necessary, I can set up a PayPal account to collect donations. I can also accept payments through Western Union - I'll then send the money to the PayPal account.

In the event that the intervention fails, I think we should agree that the money go to WrongPlanet - the logistics of returning payments would be absolutely overwhelming.

I'm in the process of putting together a web page where all contributors will be listed - anonymously if you wish - with a link to your WP profile or blog (unless you're anonymous).

Her mother committed a criminal offense against her that should actually be a criminal offense. She pretended to be her brother and told WP that she was blind and had started her lessons when she hadn't gone blind yet or started her lessons, that she was actually in a psych ward after a suicide attempt. Her mother called her horrible stuff and yelled at her and acted hateful when she brought it up with her. She does not want SpaceCase to be on WP or get support from it.

Perhaps we could also help her sue her mother and anyone else who abused her...?

We need to get her away from her mother. She is toxic to her. A lawsuit could possibly be added to the plan should we raise enough dosh.

And she has been posting, just not in the Haven. All the same, we must prevent things like this from happening again.

I just had another thought.

Would her mother be the type who would throw her things away if she left them behind?

I think getting her belongings to storage should also be on the list.

In fact, I'll edit the site now with the list of things to do.

Though how would I be able to rally the members of this forum to the cause without identifying her somehow?
