I'm sure we're not the only ones from Cambridgeshire...

Very well written letter. I hope you'll keep us all posted on how it goes over.

I think that one element missing from what I read on your site is specific recommendations. I think a call-to-action gathers more support from members of the general populace who might not otherwise have a good knowledge base on a given subject if it has a few simple specific recommendations.

Whether it's "Creation of a Job Placement Center for autistics and a tax break incentive for businesses who participate in the hiring of autistics through the Center" or... well, hell, I don't know what programs you want to suggest. "A free pint every Sunday at noon for anyone who toasts to autism" or whatever it is you recommend, as long as it is a specific change that the general populace can see how it will or won't affect their lives, people will pay attention and have an opinion.

Thanks NG, that's a really useful idea. I'll work on it over the next couple of days. Also gotta get a proper web address. Once we're a little more established, I want to add case histories and essays. BUT! it's a strictly offline set-up. Real letters, personal visits and phone calls, so the website's is never going to be hoopdeedoo.

Sorry, but it would be nice if I could read the website. It's a pain to have to try to pan left/right repeatedly, or cut&paste the text elsewhere.

I find a small font size on a fixed width page to be extremely hard to read.

Also, your front page has 21 HTML errors, 12 CSS errors and I think you may have meant "beacon" for "becon", although I don't quite follow the metaphor there.

The web pages are pre-written templates provided by the co. The beacon phrase is a bit of dig at the LA that used the phrase. Will work on sorting issues out. Thanks for having a look and commenting.
