Yeah, it's happened before too...like toddlers getting written up as a harrasser for touching a teachers breast.

How stupid. My 6 year-old sister does stuff like that. She's certainly NOT guilty of sexual harassment. She's six and curious. My mother has had gentle talks with her about personal space, but that's all she's going to do. When she's older, she'll know better. Until then, the other kindergarden boys can either enjoy the attention or yell cooties. Whatever.

When I was in first grade, a boy who liked me decided to french kiss me. He was a kid, and I was a kid. The teacher told him to "knock it off." Nobody got hurt. I think that's as far as it needed to go.

Why from the movies? Could as well, or even more likely be that he's seen or experienced it more closely.

Being a free country is not about doing sexual harrassement, bullying, child abuse and doing crime, it's about having any beliefs you want, living your life the way you want it, picking what you want to do with your life, expressing your opinions, etc.

What the schools are doing today with little kids, it wasn't like this when I was a kid but I think it started when I was in high school.

When I have kids, I am going to have to teach them about how to a act and teach them about private parts and they can't touch anyone there. I don't want police being called on my child by the school instead of them calling me and informing me about my child's behavior.

I can even remember back when I was 19, someone else said on another forum that a first grader was tasered and I thought that was way over the line.

Well, from experience, I agree with what the teacher did. When I was in kindergarten, I was sexually harrassed by one boy in my class. He was constantly proposing to me, he would try to kiss me constantly (and with me being a germaphobe as it is, there was no way I was going to let that happen!), and he would even go as far as to sitting on me so I couldn't escape him. I'm sure he was copying these things from movies or something, but it was still very creepy. As soon as I graduated kindergarten, my mom immediately changed schools for me (Yes, she had seen this with her own eyes as well.).

That boy was being a jerk and acting inappropriately, but I can't see how that would be sexual harassment. I'm betting he liked you for some reason and was taught that people get married when they really like each other.

This is just STUPID. This country's nuttiness over sex and things and might me rightly or wrongly perceived as sexual in nature is moronic. Teachers can't even give kids a hug anymore because they might get charged for sexual harassment.

USA is a very weird country. They support abstinence teaching but all their tv shows and publicity aimed at teens have heavy sexual implications even explicitly. Many teenage single moms are depicted in them, or teens with AIDS and HIV, etc.
Also, they have one the biggest porn industry in the world.

Yet they don't teach no sexual education other than "DON'T f***ing f**k!", most kids probably don't know what a condom is, or that you can get HIV with oral sex.

They have sex everywhere but it's still a stupid taboo.

And they call the police when a 6 years old is doing what he probably saw in a dumb show/publicity in tv shortly before going to school.

Took the words right out of my mouth. We've got garbage everywhere...media, television, music. Overtly sexualized commercials and programs on every channel. Then, we call the police when a kindergartner pats another kid on the butt. Heaven help us all.
