I average on that about 12% - 15%... yea... I don't see faces... some day I'll take it and just guess on them all... like choose all first one on the right and see how it goes. :)

Out of 72 faces, you correctly identified 47.
In other words, you got 65% correct.

By the end I was just guessing. I thought I would do about average.

Huh. I was actually expecting to do better than that. It was really hard towards the end though, I was mainly just guessing.

That's what faceblind/semi-faceblind people do - use non-facial clues more than the faces.

It wanted to test how good you are at using only the faces.

Strange though - I find women more difficult to recognise, but thinking about it, this makes no logical sense as men tend to have the same hair etc.

72% correct. I think I guessed some of them right, though. They looked all the same except for the guy with the large cheeks. The only thing that helped was their eyebrows.

I agree about "memorizing" faces. If I made it a point to study the faces of everyone I met as I did those, I'd probably remember them too.

Out of 72 faces, you correctly identified 56.
In other words, you got 78% correct.

On our previous version of this test, the average person with normal face recognition was able to recognize about
80% of the faces. If you correctly identified less than 65% of the faces, this may indicate face recognition difficulties.

I only have problems with people I know, my friend shaved his goatee off and started talking to me at work, I was wondering who the f*^k this guy was all day.

I think it might be easier to identify real people than computer generated people. I don't think that artwork registers in quite the same way for me.

That would be completely unfair. Real people have differing attributes that register and therefore create stronger impressions.

I got 78% which came as a real surprise because I thought I was guessing pretty much at random - I wasn't able to tell consciously which face was the right one, but maybe it registered somewhere.

It's very, very different from meeting people in real life though. I have problems with remembering faces because if I get distracted it goes straight out of my head. I find it very difficult to focus on a person's face to begin with and usually rely on elements such as hairstyle which I find easier to remember (and then I tend to get that person confused with someone else who has a completely different face, but a similar hairstyle/scarf/build etc). It's also the case that in real life you don't have a fixed image to try to memorise - people's faces change all the time.
