German schoolboy, 13, corrects NASA's asteroid figures: paper

Hmm... did nasa make an error, or was this a deliberate attempt to lull the masses into a false sense of security?

I looked things up myself:
Quote:

It seems as if he won the regional competition and will either represent his region in the state-wide competition or there won't be one in his age group (I couldn't make head or tails from www.jugend-forscht.de )

I say if that happens we just throw Rosie O Donnell up there to block it. There will be fireworks, and bad standup comedy, and then it will all be over but the weeklong cellulite rain.

Very interesting thanks for the news article.. I've too always had my own theories regarding asteroids but, I'm no scientist therefore, such things have never been published just like some ideas about various other fields of scientific research..

Great article..

"Error: Page not found"

What was the general gist of it?

NASA recently refuted the boy's claims.

NASA is still correct.

Ok, what's the deal? I do a news search on Google for this, and 2 articles come up, which directly contradict each other!

1st article

2nd article

The first article says that NASA said the boy was right, but the second article says NASA said he was wrong.
