How many words per minute can you type?

I don't measure my speed in words per minute as I think this is a bit innacurate, since words have variable length. I do about 310-330 characters per minute.

My best was 53 w.p.m., but typically I type between 40-45.

Don't know. I tend to freeze on tests, but if left alone to do my thing I would say it is in the 100+ rate. People have commented on my speed and accuracy. Sometimes I am too fast for the keypads on the ATM machine or phone numbers.

When I'm particularly on I'm around 100 wpm.
Normally it evens out to about 80 wpm from rewording and fixing mistakes.
When it's a test specifically designed to measure my speed when copying text, I average about 150 wpm.

I give credit to MMO (massively multiplayer online) games for my typing prowess.
