Hi,
I´m a 29 year old aspie, and am hoping to ´take the plunge´and move out of home at long last. I´m looking for housemates who would benefit from a support network-i.e. helping each other out, being there for one another and having friends around.
Not too sure where the house will be yet-a lot of it depends on who responds to my ad. I lilve in the East Midlands at the moment, but am considering a move further north.
I´m a library assistant and love literature, art, music, film, manga and outdoor pursuits. I also play the guitar and take part in plays in a local theatre.
If you´re interested, please let me know, either on the site or via email (richardjamessutcliffe@hotmail.co.uk). I´m on facebook too so if you´re interested we could always meet up there too.
There must be others out there like me who are ready for some independence, but not too thrilled at the idea of being stuck alone in a one bed flat! (I´m also looking into the idea of having a visiting social worker maybe every week? Depends again on who gets on board).
Cheers,
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Rich :)

I´ve noticed that a lot of people have looked at this post, but no-one has replied. I´m really interested in knowing why. Even if you´re not interested, would people be kind enough to let me know why not? I´m really keen to do this and thought there would be loads of other like-minded people. What´s putting people off? I´d like to know!
Thanks!

Don't take it personally, the volume of traffic here is very low to start with. Plus likely that very few live in your area. And among those, they are probably not in a position to help you.

Because I'm looking for housemates too, but in a different country!

Thanks for your replies guys.
If you fancy a move - the UK really is very nice!!

I just thought that there would be a lot of people looking to live with people who are on the same wavelength and sick of living with parents (like me!)

If anyone is interested, please do get in touch.
Rich
