I feel so sad sometimes I can hardly stand it. What do you do when you are sad?

well, i listen to music, dance, sometimes it really works and I forget all about my sadness, or funny as it may sound, I have the ability to go to sleep when I'm sad! Try to do something you really like to do, other people have also told me that music realy helps...

i tend to lay in bed, try to sleep.

music is a good one, if i can motivate to listen to music and find music that is good for me for the time, i will hear it over and over.

WP can help pass the time to, engage in some chatting or discussion that i can try to have ideas on things that kinda distract me from me and share them with others.

i guess it helps me to try to help others or try to give them something to think about, at the very least it helps pass time.

i also play video games when i can motivate to do so.

it's a lot easier for me to be calm and focused on something at night, so i tend to sleep during the daytime. it's a cycle that doesn't provide much room to be productive, but it helps me be calm more often.

I'll keep to myself. I'll stay in bed for a little while and try to shut everything out until the sadness goes away.

Either that, or I'll listen to music, and I'll start dancing if something fun comes on... this is always enough to put me in a good mood!

Same.

When I'm sad I usually watch a lot of anime, sleep, cry, or attempt to do all of that while listening to music.

i found that the best way to feel better quickly when depressed is to do some sort of physical activity like running or hiking. Being idle is the worst way to fight depression.

But when you don't have the motivation, nor energy to get out and do some exercise, it becomes necessary to "idle"...well, it does for me.

I've been depressed for almost 2 and a half years and can say that sometimes, the energy just isn't there.

thank you for all the good advice. being idle probably isnt the best, but sometimes I just have no motivation so I just lay on my bed and cry.

Where there's a will, there's a way. At some point you have to stop feeling sorry for yourself and decide that you don't wanna be depressed anymore.

I don't really do anything. I stay sad for as long as it takes to go away. Recently, that's become a long time.
