Before i knew about AS i thought at the point of conception there must have been a time glitch, and i have to live my entire life out of sync with the rest of the world.

Does this make sense?

As much sense as any theory based on incomplete evidence. It is sounding better as I think about it. :D

It certainly does! I couldn't have expressed it better myself. :D

For a bunch that speaks of how badly they get along in the world, here they are in tune, resonate well with others, and may just be out of phase with most.

Ths sameness of Wrong Planet is what strikes me.

This is the only place where it all makes sense to me.

Nothing makes sense to me until I've had my coffee.

I still think that I was born in a time glitch. I should have been born in the 40s or 50s, and enjoyed the 70s. Instead, I was born in the 70s and I don't really understand the grammar, youth culture and customs of the 2000s.

Born in the 90's, still growing in 08'.
I've always felt that I should have grown up in a far later time.
A time in which emotions are not needed, and people aren't self-centered. :?

I was born in the 1960's and since then it has seemed like both the wrong time and the wrong planet!! !

It is almost as though I'd been born into one of those Star Trek holodeck fantasies (or the Matrix) and brought up and spent my entire life in there, knowing that there was something wrong with "reality" but unable to awake from the "illusory world" into wherever I really belonged.

I hope that emotions will always be "needed," Microban. But with emotions come self-centredness. Always. Emotional immaturity precedes emotional maturity. Growing up as a Borg drone in the 24th century would not require emotion, as far as I know.

That is, if the Earth is not destroyed by that point in time. :D

Funny. As a kid back in the 70s, I wished I had grown up in the 50s! :D

I wouldn't have minded being born twenty years later though - that would have meant I'd grown up with computers and become a computer geek. I got into computers just a little bit too late to become a real cyberpunk. :(

My dad frequently says I should have been born in the 50s... I don't listen to much music past 1977, it just doesn't strike me as good music. Maybe 90s stuff is okay, but the majority of the music I listen to is from the 60s and 70s. It's what I grew up on; my dad played all of his classic rock CDs when he made dinner, and they just stuck.

Well... I came from 2010 and it sure look for more like chaos. I don't know how I got to 2008 but someone gave me a big whack before that happen. :D
