I have noticed that in WP, many people have their avatar pictures as the opposite sex, why????? This is driving me nutz!! ! I see the avatar picture and think that is the sex I am speaking with, and when I check your bios its not the same.

Why are you guys choosing avatar that is not your same sex? :?

I dunno. maybe they like the picture. Unlike my avatar! I really am a redheaded female, although I don't have straight hair.

I enjoy Mr. Bean. But Rowan Atkinson just happens to be male. I think you should take up this problem with his writers and casting director.

That tends to make me think that they are incredibly gay and then I usually skip most of their posts.

I hope that was sarcasm, but seeing as it was Sean it probably wasn't.

It misleads but doesn't bother me. Those with non-gender-matching avatars should be prepared to be addressed as the wrong gender.

My avatar offers little confusion

or it could be a woman holding that minigun.

I see all koalas as female seeing as they are cute to look at but once you actually engage with them you soon find out they have claws.

I resent that.

I may be a little hairy, but I am not covered in gray fur

My avatar is a male housecat. Sorry. If it helps, he's neutered!

I guess I have some neutral avatars, but I sometimes use a female one just because it's a character I like.

For some reason, I used to think you were male by the look of your avatar. For me, anyway, the koala's bushy grey ears sort of suggest a grumpy old man with hideous sideburns. Like Scrooge.

I am really into the Harry Potter series. Harry Potter is a guy. I am using a picture of him for my avatar. That is why my avatar is a guy.

Then again, it's not that big of a mental leap to assume that Bec might be short for Rebecca.

Yeah. Avatars should reflect you, not what you fancy or want to be.

By the way... My lion is male. What ???? NO IT IS NOT A HEDGEHOG. I am gonna get that heckler one of these days...
