I think the choice to make the autistic person an adult is a good one.
How often we are seen as children only, the poor, poor children. . .no wonder they treat us as children the rest of our lives.

I would've had an easier time following it if it had just been an article. But I guess that's just me.

Also had to put it on mute

yeah, I had to mute it too, that music was on a popular commercial and it distracted me from taking it seriously.

I had to stop it after a minute because the rocking made me feel ill and so distracted I couldn't read the message. Oh well - it's made for NT's not aspies.

Very good vid. I think this one is especially important:

'They don't assume that high-profile people in the 'autism establishment' are automatically allied with us because of their credentials or positions of organisational leadership.'

I hope some people who aren't on the Spectrum listen to the video and take note of it. All the points it makes are valid.

Btw, the music's Coldplay. :)

oh, gawd no, Zach. People are not interested in praising anything that is free of charge.

just my two cents,

I've praised LOTS of things that were free! I think the idea of this guy stimming, without seeming to be a part of it, wasn't really a great idea. As for those putting it on mute? DON'T WORRY! The text was the only message.
