Making adults feel dumb.

Does anyone here ever get to technical and make certain adults feel dumb when discussing topics that u know more about than they do. Sorta making a grown up in your precence feel embarrassed of there limited knowledge. With you being alot younger obviously.

Oh yeah. Or worse, try writing a letter to your gf/bf with technical lingo.

and they don't like it when you are older, either, peers, profs, bosses.
you open your mouth and intelligence floods out, it intimidates. After years of dealing with it, I have come to a conclusion that they then think your intentions are what THIER intentions would be if THEY were that smart.

and we are just being normal for us. so we get accused of a lot of what other people will do.

Ive even made it into a semi-sport of mine to see how much I can get under a persons skin doing it, if I don't like them...

Problem for me is that here in sa most people speak zulu or other native languages. So when talking to them i sometimes sound stupid trying to speak there language. But the minute i find one with some education i start making them feel stupid again

Sometimes. Although I don't make myself look really smart or others look dumb...I just confuse them.

This is my favorite game because I can play without competition...by myself for my own enjoyment.

When I was in third grade I corrected a student teacher for confusing the altitudes of cumulus, status, and cirrus clouds... she was a bit embarrassed hehe. I don't intentionally confuse people or make them feel dumb, usually. It just happens.

Yes, I'll call one of my friends, and I'll end up explaning every other word to them.
It gets annoying

Happens to me whenever I try to talk about either writing, history, or human body science.

I just remeber from school when I would say repeet somthing I read in a popular sciance magazine, and my teacher would flat out denai (dínæ, neita) it, usualy it was somthing doing with f*****g up the genes of mice and make them act silly.

I know how you feel about teachers flat out denying what you have read outside of school and acting like you are an idiot.

In History, everyone wonders why I don't just teach class.

I just tend to confuse people with my human anatomy ramble ^^; Some, like my mother, try to be interested XD Most just give the look of "Alright, now shut up"

All the time. Espicaly at zoos when the dumb ass volenteers ask for questions. It's as if the zoos actualy look for the stupidest people on the planet when they are looking for voleneers. When they ask for questions I ask about rare animals that most people haven't heard of just to test them. Either I just know more about animals than most people or they are just dumb. It used to be great fun to ask questions to people about meerkats and they didn't even know what they were. Meerkat Manor messed that up for me. It's great fun to make people look stupid.
