I'm curious because it seems that people with AS don't care about their looks.

Well I don't.

I might take it up as a hobby because it is an advantage to look more attractive, people treat more attractive people better.

someone could be as ugly as sin, but if they have money people will fall head over heels, to be nice to them.

Well maybe you could try and look rich.

I'm constantly trying to make myself look more beautiful, it's an obsession for me.

I do and I don't.

I have to force myself everyday to get in the shower and out of my PJs

but one of my obsessions are the pinups of the 30's, 40's, and early 50's, and I emulate them.

So it is great fun to me to discover forgotten ways of styling one's hair, scoring a vintage shirt or dress, a pair of spike heels that look vintage, things like that.

And so in the end I do end up caring about my appearance but if left to it, I could just sit around being stinky and be happy.

What things can you really do though? You can have a hair cut that suits you the best and wear nice clothes. That's about it really.

Is my body out of shape do you think? I am trying to shape up though, I exercise every day and it's starting to pay off.

I wouldn't go for any plastic sugery you will probably end up looking like micheal jackson or something.

I'm not obsessed with trying to look pretty, but sometimes I think I'm ugly.

I red hair a bit longer than shoulder length (I'm a guy btw). It is really curly and matts up really bad no matter how much I brush it or use conditioner. I didn't want to cut my hair short, so I got dreadlocks.

I'm obsessed with looking good. If your hair grows fast you need to figure out how to trim it yourself like I did a couple years ago. It needs to be trimmed everyday.

I constantly trim my hair, cut my fingernails, and use a make-up stick to cover my acne scars. I also dye my hair, brush my shoes and wear clothing with matching colours.
