Only if they are really thin skinned. It would more likely offend a Christian because you're taking God's name in vain. Latinos name their kids Jesus to honor Jesus Christ.

Also, the term "hispanic-american" irritates Brazilians because the correct term for them is "luso-american". All this "politically correct" stuff spins out of control where anyone can be offended if they want to.

i'm hispanic and I personally always considered naming kids 'jesus' was idiotic beyond belief.

Heck my own name was picked from the bible for no other reason than one of my grandparents wanting to be able to say or show that the family was following the book or some crap like that.

sort of ironic i've been agnostic since I was very little.

Most names are from the Bible. Mine is also, and its ironic since far back I had a Jewish-Spanish relative (I'll give you a hint to the name, it starts with a D and ends with a D)
