I think this is wrong.
If mods are allowed to run wild with however they wish to change people's posts and polls,
it brings into serious question whether or not WP is a place that people can present their views
honestly. I feel very much like leaving WP right now.
I would do an honest response here.
Giving your history, Ragtime, of how you make polls in which I agree that those are forced options, he changed your poll.
However, I think Ragtime has some point here, I think most probably would disagree with me, that is wondering about the ethics about the action, about changing the poll of someone else's thread, after all, it is his thread, and he had the freedom of doing so as he pleased (within the site's rules of course), so I believe the poll's options had to be according to his judgement, even if they are wrong, after all, that is the PPR forum, no one has to be right there, no one will get a consensus on anything, anyway.
Note, that I am not attacking anyone here, I believe Ragtime is probably making a big deal about this, but I am not sure if changing the poll was the correct ethical option, an honest opinion, and I am actually just questioning the action rather than making a solid judgement against or in favor of it.
It is the Opening Poster's decision as to what the poll options are, even if they aren't liked by anyone else. Basically, if you don't find the option that fits you, then you don't have to vote. Besides, the choices for presidential candidates are far worse in my opinion.
