There's this idea that's been flitting about in my head for quite some time.
It would be a gangster movie set in late 1800s Alaska called 'Boss of the North'.
It would be about T.A. Alberts, the head of the Northern Territories Prospecting company, the 'boss of the north', and his attempts to create a monopoly on the prospecting industry through physical force. The hero would be named John Jacobs, the head of the Western Wolf Mining company. Or maybe the hero would be his best friend and hired bodyguard bodyguard Maxwell Lang, I haven't decided yet. But in any case, John Jacobs, aided by his mentor, a Native American shaman, organizes his friends into his own gang so that he can protect his mining company and the small range it encompasses (i.e. one town) from T.A. Alberts' gang.
Most of the script would be in hip-hop slang and the film would be set to a rap soundtrack.
