That doesn't make sense to me. What if they used horse logging? Would the difference between the lower impact horses and the rip-it-all-up log skidders matter?

It does seems as though if other neighboring trees get badly damaged or pulled down, they had might as well be harvested, too.....

Meawhile, while we point our fingers at Brazil, our own forests (including rainforests) in the U.S. are being wiped out..... :?
