I just watched the two movies, I've got kind of mixed feelings. I thought "Bender's Big Score" felt a bit strained, like it was trying too hard to fit as many references to past episodes as possible into 90 minutes. "The Beast With A Billion Backs" felt more relaxed, but the plot was just strange, even for Futurama. I thought both movies had picked up a bit of the taint of Family Guy with some tasteless jokes that I don't think the original show would have made, but I think a lot of post South Park post Family Guy animated shows have done that. I also though that BBS tried to out do Family Guy in it's meta jokes about being canceled, but I didn't mind that so much. Anyway, for the most part I enjoyed the movies, I just hope the writers settle back into their old groove a bit better by the time the 3rd and 4th ones come out.
