The find was at the most incongruous of sites -- inside a high-security Israeli prison holding Hamas and Islamic Jihad prisoners near the biblical site of Armageddon, now Megiddo.

Its watchtowers lie beneath the hill where the Book of Revelation prophesies the final battle between good and evil.

"Armageddon" is a bad transliteration of "Har Meggido" (Mount Meggido), and there was already a battle there....

It doesn't surprise me. In the early church, all those who believed everything about Jesus were persecuted and many were thrown in jail. They had to form underground churches in the catacombs in order to worship the way they wanted to. That is, until Constatine came around...
