hey im making a new autism card, i already handed out all of mine, and its that time to make new ones, so im going to use my old design and then put new stuff on the back of it.

I'm going to put all the autism myths on the back and truth underneath so ppl will now know.

A mother off of autismspeaksnetwork gave me the idea, she already stated the low iq, the look of autism, the savant syndrome, the affection part. What other myths of autism are there? if anybody could help, right now my brain isnt the best, too much going on?

You have to be interested in at least one of these subjects to be autistic: Schedules (like train, bus etc), computers or an area of science.

Autistic people are ugly, or look like the stereotypical nerd.
Autistic people have no "personhood".
Autistic people are autistic because of lack of love as children.
_biro: and on a more specific note, Dinosaurs. You can't be autistic if you weren't at one point interested in dinosaurs (honestly, I learned dinousaur names from Power Ranger, so...)
Autistic people have no feelings.
