I think that at least the twin towers were actually hit by planes and pancaked from the top down.

Here's a video that shows the planes:

One is shown clearly at time 1:05

As for the Pentagon:

Most people don't think too much about it; it was 7 years ago and not part of most people's daily life anymore.

I think it's pretty unlikely that terrorists managed to coordinate this thing without some inside help.

We're pretty messed up here.
Since the world hates us (with good reason), we can just blow s**t up if we feel like it and blame it on some terrorist group.

Of course I have no proof, and really don't care enough to make a real study of it. Just my twisted little opinion here.

Iamnotaparakeet has it right. I did not watch the videos because I don't want to relive it. Our government had nothing to do with it except for not keeping track of all the aliens in our country, and why would we when we were getting along just fine.
I never for a moment forget there are people out there who would happily rape and behead me for following my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
I have made friends with a number of Muslims and happily read all the literature they gave me, but when I learned that Arabic has a specific word that means the duty to lie to us to make Islam look good, I was shaken.
I read Al-Jazeera and blogs in many countries. There are a lot of really evil people in this world who think killing me is a great idea.

Most people don't think about the wars between Rome and Carthage either.

Assuming it was an "inside job" assumes a level of intelligence and competence on the part of government conspirators that I have yet to see our government display under any administration, let alone the Bush administration.

No, both Occam's Razor and Hanlon's would lead me to believe the "official" story...

(Occam's Razor: The answer that requires the fewest unproven assumptions is most likely true.

Hanlon's Razor: Never ascribe to malice what is adequately explained by stupidity.)

You read this from their own materials? I had read some information about Islam from a Nelson publication, but it is interesting that you found out some of it from the Islamic materials.

Nice to meet another Christian here, other than Orwell and Slowmutant.

Very true... 9/11 was a tragic case of a US president who left the nation undefended and became unable to act when it was attacked.

The American people have been paying for his blunder ever since in the form of ever more draconian 'security' laws that contribute not a whit to our security.

How the heck did Bush leave America any less defended than Clinton? Did Clinton have the necessary precautions in place? Really, do you expect Bush or any other leader to omnisciently prevent any and all possible dangers?

I live in NYC and a surprising number of "normal" people here believe there is/ was some kind of domestic conspiracy behind the attacks. I was in the dentist office not long ago and 2 men in the waiting room were openly discussing that they felt it was a conspiracy and were giving each other youtube links to that effect.

It is still very raw here, at least compared to other places. I live in an area where a lot of police and firefighters have residences, so my borough was inordinately affected in terms of rescue workers lost, given that the population here is the least dense in the city.

What does Clinton have to do with it? Clinton was not Commander in Chief on that day. Bush apparently decided that two airplanes, one of them unarmed, were enough to defend the entire eastern united states from foreign air attack. He was wrong. It wasn't enough.

The American people paid for thousands of fighter jets, for the purpose of defending the nation. Bush had them spread around the world in various conflict zones, leaving only two in the air to defend the nation. As Commander in Chief, it was his duty to see that the nation was adequately defended. Instead he let four unarmed planes launch a devastating attack, and he denies responsibility for it to this day.

This was a military blunder of epic proportions, and the Commander in Chief bears the ultimate responsibility for it.

The Majority have forgotten thinking about it because it happened too long ago
and too far away from where they live and they don't care about the details
especially why Building 7 collapsed at ground level without any fire or even damages
since that building was the mayor's bomb shelter and he ran out of it
just a minute before the other two buildings blew up.

Occam's razor is the magic trick of 9/11.
Caveman on the other side of the world did it!! !
Anything else is too unbelievable and even too complicated to believe.

Here is another example. This cartoon is all about how to make money.
It's not a conspiracy theory or a scam but it's just too strange to believe.

How Money REALLY Works

Aw, knothead, you ought to watch the movie Flight oops 93? 95? I think the title is Flight 93. I learned so much from that movie. Totally gripping.

notaparakeet: None of the muslims I knew would tell me why adoption was forbidden in Islam except to say that they believed mothers should raise their children. Yeah, nice theory. And every muslim asked me why I adopted children of another race no less!
A couple weeks ago, I finally found out. Mohammed wanted to marry his adopted son's wife, but that's plain immoral, so he didn't until he received the revelation that adoption does not really make a boy your son. Then it was okay.
And yes, I have discovered that Arabs as a group (don't know if that includes the Christian Arabs or not) are horribly horribly racist. They make the KKK look positively benign. And with the history of what muslims have done to them, I have no idea why sub-Saharan Africans become muslims. One man in Rwanda told me they were rice muslims. LOL I had heard of rice christians, but never rice muslims. I guess it works both ways.

Here, in the states you have a majority who understands what happened and how. No, we haven't forgot. Saying that it was "too long ago" is silly. Did we forget Pearl Harbor? Or the American revolution?
Calling the attackers cavemen is insulting and underestimates their abilities, not that I care about insulting them so much, but underestimating them is how we allowed this to happen in the first place.
A small group wants to believe in government involvementbut have nothing but You Tube videos and dull arguements on their side.
