Tough question. There is a lot of people worth killing but I don't know their names... Besides last time I checked the death note wasn't real... What a shame...

Yagami Light made a point of being too conspicuous by killing people with the same method always. He craved public attention. I think that was a stupid choice. I would kill all my potential opponents before they even suspected there was a pattern emerging, AND I wouldn't let any pattern of deaths emerge.

I'm pretty sure that I'd use it for evil, even if I didn't intend to at the beginning.

I'd never kill someone because its not just their future your ending, but the future of all their offspring, and all the offspring of people who would be married if that person hadn't been killed (ie Sue would have married johnny and maria would have married Mark but since Johnny was killed before Maria met mark, Mark ended up marrying Sue and and Maria ended up marrying Todd etc). One death can have a pretty big impact in the long term.


The funny thing is that I'm only alive today because one of my ancestors hightailed it out of Switzerland when he had fight that potentially led to his friends death (he didn't stick around to make sure). The fight was over a girl but he obviously wasn't too distraught over losing her as he met his wife on the ship to America

But what if someone was going to try to kill you. Wouldn't you fight and try to kill them?

But by supplanting the functions of law enforcement he inevitably would draw the attention of the authorities. He should have begun by incapacitating them, and so he would have avoided the cat-and-mouse paranoia that intruded into his mission for about 90% of the series.

i'd use it to get rid of:
1. Paris Hilton
2. the stupid Preps in my school who think I'm ret*d b/c of my Asperger's
3. Osama Bin Ladin (stupid radical jerk who crashed freaking planes into our towers)
4. the idiots in control of the gov't
5. homophobes (pro gay rights )

This is a very interesting question. I can't stand killing bugs, much less people. However, I probably would end up using it at least once out of curiosity to see if it worked. I don't know who I would chose. No wait. That's a lie. There is an old man, who's wife died a few years ago who I would kill, because he is soo lonely but his body won't quit even though he is pretty much blind and going deaf. It would be a quiet and peaceful death for him.

Once I knew it worked? I dunno. I could trade my eyes and walk around in big cities late at night to make sure innocent people don't die... Having a Death Note doesn't really appeal to me. I'd rather talk to dead people than make them dead in the first place.

Or I could become an kick-ass hot assassin chick! That would make a good fan fic, if it hasn't been done a million times already.

I assume a death note is a musical tone that kills on hearing it. It has one unfortunate characteristic. Everybody who discovers it dies immediately. So it must be rediscovered continuously and cannot be passed on to others.

I don't watch this manga...
