Does anybody feel their clothes on their skin 24/7?

Does feeling your clothes has any effect on you (distraction, uncomfortable or comfortable, welcomed etc.)?

Well... It depends... If it's clothes I don't like to wear, I feel uncomfortable all the time.
For example I don't like cotton. It feel's itchy, and is really annoying, so that would make it distraction.

On the other side, if it's clothes I like, then I really don't think about it...

I hate clothes and often when I get home I will strip off and settle down naked if I can.

Yes, I do. Depending on how I'm in relation to being "autistic", it can vary from just feeling them, and them posing a minor nuisance, to a level of pain that's disabling if I don't remove them (it's always my torso, so shirts are the problem). I can't wear my watch; nor can I wear anything else on my arms/around my neck, as it simply bothers/hurts me too much.

I hate clothes (except shorts, I don't mind shorts).

Yes, I always feel my clothes on my skin. Like others have said, sometimes, I'll only mildly feel them and they won't bother me. However, other times, the clothes physically hurt and it's just unbearable. Out of all of my sensory issues, tactile issues with clothes is the one that interferes with my daily life the most.

Yes, it's not a distraction unless there's an unfortunately placed seam or tag.

I like clothes with texture.

I have sensory issues with pants and socks. It's just to hot with them on. My mum won't let me not wear pants anymore, but I still try to not wear socks at him.

Sometimes even the softest fabric feels like needle points resting on my skin.

I think everything is a distraction 24/7. There isn't one time I am awake that something isn't bothering me. It's not always clothing, it's everything. When I go running I have to wear shorts. Anything other than shorts makes me itch like mad.

Hats, eye glasses and wigs are my worst offenders. They cause intense itching. My issue has more to do with itching. Sweating causes itching too.
Right now I am having a "toe" issue. My right foot's second toe from big is experiencing a strange twingy sensation. Maybe there's a paper cut on it? That twinginess comes and goes:(

yes,am hyper-aware of them and prefer to wear as little as possible [sports bra and big boxer shorts] without being affected too much by material not on self-but the less is worn-the more get affected by outside feels-so have to comprimise, the more is worn-the more am attack at skin with nails-if it is not removed am go into sensory overload,if its raining outside,am either have to choose to put on hoodie and shoes [because of the sensory issues am have with water],or wait till it stops and go out without having added any clothing.
clothing and shoes are overrated,it's only there to stop people getting arrested.

A feeling of clothes-ness topic

Yuck. It might be the soap. And it might be an oddly placed metal button on tops or bottoms. Sometimes I wish I could just jump out of my skin. :eew:

I only like soft clothing but I wear jeans as long as the material is not really hard.
