I wonder how much snow your place would get in a average year.

the snow belt, where my school is located in, averages somewhere over 100 inches a year. . . .It can be a lot of fun.

100 inches. Yes, indeed. LOTS of fun. :lol: As Fogman said, fun until mid-March or so...

I thought that was such a good question I looked it up. Our average is 36 inches. Near the Great Lakes, in the snow belt, its over 70.

It was a dusting only, but very beutiful, as GH said. I'm interested in his response to the first wet, heavy snow. Not as pretty perhaps, but lots more fun.

The snow is beautiful and I apprecaited your poems which let me look at it though new eyes. I think you will really like the spring, the seasons of renew when the grass comes back and the trees bud out.

Next time it snows, collect a few flakes on a black piece of paper to felt. Use your enlarging glass to look at them. Each snowflake really is unique.

I did have to laugh at us last night though...you all bundled up in your warm wear and me joining you in shorts and a t-shirt. (no folks, I was just running out to move the car. I not totally nuts. Yet.)

You are just too precious for words!! I love how you view the world. It makes me pause and look at things differently.

I would be distressed if you ever did stop posting. You make me see things totally different and appreciate even the most mundane occurrance.

I love your poem to the snow!!

I still think you should write. A book about your travels would incourage and inspire other Aspies to break out and explore. I have even ventured out more since I have known you. You are a true inspiration!!

Please consider writing. I would be first in line at the book signing!

i will stop complaining that when it snows here, we rarely get more than a foot at a time....

agree the snow is beautiful, though i have shoveled and stalked and snowshoed through years of it. i have only hated snow once, one march, when 16 inches fell and i was essential personnel. i have built snowmen and snow forts and slid down hills on a sled, all as an adult, because it rarely snowed enough in new york city. i came north for the snow, choosing north over west because here there is more snow and longer winter. they say you live ten years longer in warm states like california, but i would rather live shorter and colder and love the snow.
having said all that, in gh's post i see i have not appreciated snow, have not loved it as i might. so this year i will, because next year i may be in some warm place, appreciating my new job and my new life, but missing the snow.

Susan is the social worker that is for the persons
who have special needs. I started seeing here
periodically since August.

Because of her i got my Aspie diagnoses. and V.A.P testing
to all onsite job evaluatiions that are in the process of being
setup, hence forth the emails I periodically have been posting.

That is a compliment, and as such, my eyes see the niveity
of the snowy progression of a Minnesota winter. Thanks

I am not stopping posting, I am just making a book journal since
I don't claim to speak Aspie'nese on wrongplanet, thus accept my
