Hey has anyone else ever been told they run weird. I was made fun of for this alot in high school gym (not that I ever really cared because everyone who made fun of me for it was slower then me :) (granted most of the class was slower then me, just 1 or 2 kids faster depending on the year.) They would always say "You run like a fairy" or some stupid thing like that.

Lol, I try to avoid running as much as possible. I have been told that I walk weird though.

Apparently I 'couldn't run properly' when I was 10. Apparently it made me weird in other ways so I did a program to learn the cross pattern and other stuff and apparently I can run now... but still not well and I HATE running!

Yes, I have a funny run, and a funny walk, that's what people always tell me anyway.

When I run, I am slow, inconsistent in my paces, and consistently twist my ankles. I was always the slowest runner in my gradeschool and despised the quarterly mile we had to run. Eck!

In high school, I got into running, but because of balance problems and twisted ankles, I could only ever run on smooth tracks or in place. But I was definitely in shape and would run 45 minutes each day. If I ran on sidewalks or, god forbid, grass, I'd always end up twisting something.

Now, of course, I'm out of shape again (yay). But I've always despised running.

I have flat arches so... when I was in cross country, they said I would hurt my legs if I tried to run flat footed as I was aquainted. So I ended up having to adopt a "bounce" also known as a painful gait that just ended up injuring me anyway. I miss exercise terribly, but I don't miss running.
