What, exactly, is the medical treatment for nymphomania? Saltpeter? Hypnosis? Marriage?

Seriously, Fox Mulder is apparently afflicted with sex addiction. Is it AA style, where it's just based on group therapy?

I am not a psychologist.

However, from what i know of lymphomania and the like, what i do know is that it's a mostly mental thing as apposed to a hormonal thing (though to be fair, high hormone levels can contribute. Too most tesosterone anyone?). However, i think it's probably something that needs treating using counciling and therapy, possibly group, depending on the person.

 Thats all I gotta say about that.
However I can't say that I'm addicted to sex as I only got miraculously lucky to that degree once in my lifetime, but thoughts of sex can sometimes be addicting to me. So I guess I can relate.
